Daughters
In 2008, I founded Daughters (also known as Daughters International), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through education. Our mission, “Creating possibility for women through education. Onward and upward!”, reflects our commitment to fostering opportunities for talented girls and women who face limited access to resources due to their social context. My inspiration came from meeting many gifted girls and women during my work and travels—each with dreams and potential, but challenged by their circumstances and lack of educational opportunities.

Daughters focuses on providing scholarships for schooling and educational programs that build leadership skills, financial literacy, confidence, and life skills. These initiatives aim to help women and girls unlock their potential, enabling them to connect, network, and leverage their strengths to become impactful contributors and leaders in their communities.

We believe that education not only nurtures practical skills but also empowers women to uplift their societies. By promoting the growth of skilled and confident women, Daughters strives to foster thriving, peaceful communities.

A portion of earnings from our workshops and coaching is donated to Daughters, directly funding scholarships that make these transformative educational opportunities possible.
